HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE FACBOOK POSTING:
“HCSO SSgt. Jennifer Watt has ๐ฎ ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ, and that mission is to honor the memory of her mother Aletha Lyons who passed away in December 2020 from complications of small cell lung cancer.
As she was undergoing treatment for the disease, Aletha began making chemo care bags for other patients who were also fighting a cancer battle. SSgt. Watt has carried on that tradition every November because
SSgt. Watt, who has served both Johnson High School and Cherokee Bluff High School as an SRO, gets support for the project from students and staff. This year, they donated enough goodies to create All of the bags will go to cancer patients undergoing treatment at ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ in Gainesville. We love seeing partnerships like this!”
