Wind Advisory continues as predicted cold front arrives

A Wind Advisory remains in place for most of north Georgia as gusty winds bring in that much cooler weather we’ve been promised for several days.

“…breezy northwest winds of 15–20 mph, with frequent gusts up to 35 mph. Weakened trees and limbs from last week’s strong winds could come down, potentially causing power outages,” the Friday afternoon weather service advisory says.

“(And much”) cooler temperatures move in over the weekend with highs in the 60s to near 70°, and overnight lows in the 40s for most.”
