A 185-acre annexation and zoning application is scheduled to be heard by the Lula Planning Commission next month.
The proposed zoning is Agricultural for parcels over five acres and R-1 (residential) for tracts less than that. The land abuts Tribble Gap and Sloan Stephens Road, County Line Drive and Old Cornelia Highway,
The applicants are Jarel and Judah Echols, Echols Farm Enterprises, Jared and Shelly Echols, JDJ Entertainment, and Ricardo and Olivia Portillo.
In all, there are twelve parcels, according to the legal advertisement for the meeting, which will be held Nov. 3 at Lula City Hall.
