A 27-year-old worker was injured at Road Atlanta when a metal beam struck his head about noon Thursday.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), he worked for a tent rental company and he and other workers were dismantling a large tent when the accident happened. The report indicated he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment and released later in the afternoon.
