GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 9:57 AM, Post 6 Troopers were dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash on I-985 Southbound near Exit 14, in Hall County. The crash involved four vehicles and caused traffic on I-985 Southbound to be temporarily stopped. Traffic was soon diverted to the Exit 14 off-ramp until the roadway could be cleared. All lanes of I-985 Southbound were cleared and reopened at 11:23 AM.
The crash occurred when a white Audi sedan struck a blue Lexus SUV from the rear. This collision stated a chain reaction resulting in three vehicles being towed and three reports of injury (two transported via ground EMS with non-life-threatening injuries). The investigation is incomplete at this time.”
