He’s been identified as 35-year-old Quinton Cantrell.

“…Shortly before 3 a.m. (Monday), officers assigned to the North Precinct were dispatched to a home on Allen St. in Buford in reference to a “person shot” call. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of an adult male inside a parked vehicle. Additional officers began canvassing the area, looking for the suspects.
The shooting victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
At this time, detectives are following up on leads and trying to identify at least two other individuals who may be involved. The motive for this crime remains under investigation.”
