*A voting rights group is taking Georgia’s Secretary of State to court. The AJC reports Black Voters Matter recently filed a lawsuit that claims Brad Raffensperger’s office won’t give up records from last year’s mass voter cancellation. The suit says the Secretary didn’t explain methodology for finding voters who were part of the nearly 480-thousand names removed statewide.

*A recent report from SmartAsset analyzed census data to determine the average net worth of households in the country and to show the disparities. Georgia was ranked near the middle of the list at 28th, with a median net worth of $167,000. Hawaii topped the list: $692,000, followed by Washington and New Hampshire. On the other end of the spectrum, Arkansas had the lowest median net worth at $62,500, with New Mexico and Oklahoma close behind.

*A proposal to place a cell phone tower between two Gwinnett County schools has several parents concerned.   Qiong Ly tells ANF she’s very concerned one that could be built between Parsons Elementary School and Peachtree Ridge High. Lee says there’s also an online petition for parents who say they’re worried about potential health risks. The American Cancer Society says, however, there’s currently no strong evidence that exposure to radio frequency waves from cell towers causes noticeable health effects. Gwinnett Schools officials say they’re still working out details of the project, and nothing is set in stone.
