Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators recently charged a Suwanee man with the theft of two vehicles from used auto dealerships in Hall County.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
According to preliminary details, Ethan Brock Vance, 31, broke into Global Imports Auto Sales at 866 Ga. 13/Gainesville Highway early Monday morning, Jan. 26. He took the keys to a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban and then stole the vehicle from the lot. On the same day, investigators believe he stole the tag from a vehicle in a business parking lot in the 4800 block of Lanier Islands Parkway and placed it on the stolen SUV. Gwinnett County Police Department officers recovered the Suburban and tag on Tuesday Jan. 27.
In the second case, Vance stole a 2017 Ford Mustang from Amazing Luxury Motors at 3662 Ga. 369/Browns Bridge Road. He rammed the business gate with the car to get away during the early Sunday morning, Feb. 8, crime. Gwinnett County Police Department officers recovered the Mustang on Tuesday morning, Feb. 10, and arrested Vance that evening.
HCSO investigators charged Vance with the following crimes:
· Second-degree burglary (felony)
· Theft by taking (felony) – 2 counts
· Second-degree criminal damage to property (felony)
· Theft by taking (misdemeanor)
Police transferred custody of Vance to HCSO deputies following his arrest. Deputies transported him to the Hall County Jail, where he is being held without bond…”
