Colin Gray Jury Selection Day 3: A jury was seated Wednesday morning

A jury made up of Hall County residents was selected Wednesday morning to hear the case of Colin Gray, the father of alleged Apalachee High School shooter, Colt Gray.

The judge presiding over the case hopes to begin testimony Monday. Though the jury is from Gainesville, by virtue of a change of venue, the trial itself will be held in Winder in Barrow County where the crime occurred.

The judge told the jurors, 15 of them including three alternates, that he was not going to sequester them but urged them to stay off social media, avoid the news, and keep the circle of friends and relatives who know you are serving “tight.”

The elder Gray is facing 29 charges, including giving the gun used in the shooting to his son.
