The fog usually rolls in overnight but today’s a bit different. It started well after daybreak, and the National Weather Service (NWS) has now issued a Dense Fog Advisory for most of north Georgia. It’s effective for counties (including Forsyth and Dawson) just to the west and northwest of Gainesville. Visibilities of a quarter of a mile or less are likely.
