GA. STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“(Monday) a Trooper was called to a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 85 southbound at exit ramp 149 in Banks County.
The investigation revealed a Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound in the left lane and a tractor trailer was traveling southbound in the right lane. The driver of the Toyota attempted to make a lane change into the right lane. The right rear of the Toyota struck the left front of the tractor trailer, causing the Toyota to rotate clockwise.
The Toyota began overturning, exiting the west shoulder of Interstate 85, coming to a final rest facing northbound.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, where he succumbed to his injuries.”
