New radios, vehicles for sheriff’s office & several planning, zoning issues on HCC agenda

The Hall County Commission (HCC) will be asked this week to approve spending about half-a-million dollars on new radios and patrol vehicles for the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office is asking for the purchase of ten Ford Explorers from Billy Howell Ford in Cumming at a total price of $442,980 and 110 Motorola radios to the Georgia Department of Administrative Services and establish a capital projects budget in the amount of $132,000.

Planning and zoning matters on the agendas for Tuesday’s work session and the Thursday voting meeting can be accessed here and include a request involving a proposed warehouse complex in the 3200 block of Athens Highway: Board of Commissioners Agenda Center | Hall County, GA – Official Website

And the commission will consider approving the qualifying fees for count offices for this year’s election cycle.
