Braselton officials are considering an ordinance that would govern the location of future pickleball courts in the city.
This follows complaints from some residents whose homes are now in close proximity to pickleball courts about the noise coming from them when they are in use. At issue is the “high frequency” and “popping sound” creating by paddles striking balls.
The Braselton City Council is considering requiring a 250-foot buffer between any future courts and nearby homes. The council could vote on the matter within the next few weeks.
