Delta sued over seating; Student housing shortages

(GA. NEWS NETWORK)

*A class action lawsuit has been filed against Atlanta-based Delta Airlines and Chicago-based United by passengers who claim the carriers sold them premium window seats without actual windows. The lawsuit alleges that some seats are next to air conditioning ducts and electrical systems, with the airlines failing to disclose this, leading passengers to pay extra for seats beside a blank wall. The plaintiffs argue the airlines misrepresented the seats sold.

*Savannah State University students are facing a housing shortage this semester due to a larger first-year class. An SSU spokesperson noted that this unavailability is impacting students, a situation also mirrored at nearby colleges like Georgia Southern University and the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
