Lumpkin County voters are being asked to cast their votes in a referendum Tuesday to determine whether to continue the collection of a education sales tax (E-SPLOST).
The tax is used to raise funds for facility maintenance and provide technology and classroom resources in county schools.
E-SPLOST has been in effect in Lumpkin since the option was first established by the Georgia legislature in 1996.
Voting will take place 7:00-7:0 at parks & recreation offices, 365 Riley Road.
