Vance, Kemp, Warnock on the presidential campaign trails in Georgia

(GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK/97.5 GLORY FM) – The presidential campaign is down to the wire and tight in Georgia, according to some polls. And the weekend has seen no break in high-profile individuals campaigning for Georgia votes for former president Donald Trump

Trump’s running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance, pitching to Georgia Saturday at an Atlanta rally, vowing to turn the state red.

Gov. Rian Kemp, meanwhile, was stumping for Trump in Cumming, downplaying Kamala Harris surrogates such as actress Julia Roberts (a Georgia native) by saying they don’t live here. Some of Trump’s surrogates also don’t live here, such as Dr. Ben Carson, who appeared at a Trump rally in Duluth last week.

Despite Kemp’s troubled relationship with Trump in the past, the governor told. The governor told CBS Saturday he wants a Republican win at the top of the ticket and in all the down-ballot races.

And Sen. Raphael Warnock was touting Harris at homecoming for Spellman and Morehouse universities in Atlanta.
