A Gainesville man who leaves behind a lifetime of monuments to his career as an architect has died. Garland Reynolds died Thursday at the age of 89.
From three stations for Atlanta’s rapid rail system to hotels, churches, museums/history centers, industrial plants and more, evidence of his work dots the landscape across Georgia and other parts of the Southeast – including at least 13 projects in northeast Georgia. A partial list of projects can be found here: Reynolds Architects – Partial List of Projects and Clients (garlandreynoldsarchitect.com)
A memorial service is planned Thursday at 1:00 at Grace Episcopal Church.
