Hall County Fire Rescue (HCFR) and units from Gainesville Fire Department (GFD) responded to a residence off Cleveland Highway Friday afternoon to reports of a garage fire.
“The bulk of the fire was extinguished and the remainder of the units returned to service,” according to HCFR spokeswoman Kimberlie Ledsinger.
One side of the garage received the extent of the damage as well as the exterior of a vehicle parked inside.
“The homeowners exited the home prior to HCFR arrival and no one was injured on scene,” Ledsinger added.
The Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
