Three Gainesville area towns are on Travel & Leisure Magazine’s list of the Ten Best Mountain Towns in Georgia.
They are Dahlonega (pictured), Helen and Clarkesville. Five other northeast Georgia towns also made the cut: Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Clayton, McCaysville and Blairsville. Northwest Georgia’s Adairsville and Ringgold round out the list.
