The GBI has arrested and charged Paten Diontae Carter, 17, Alto, with Aggravated Stalking and Child Exploitation.
On May 14, the Cornelia Police Department requested the GBI to investigate a child exploitation allegation.
The agency issued a news release Wednesday saying Carter was booked into the Habersham County Detention Center a week ago.
Other information about the case was not released.
