The Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (JEMC) Foundation Board of Directors included them in the latest round of grants it approved.
At the group’s September meeting, grants totaling more than $55,000 were approved for these organizations: Barrow Ministry Village ($15,000), Good News at Noon ($15,000), Our Neighbor, Inc. ($10,000), Medlink Georgia, Inc ($8,271), and Bethel Haven ($7,500). Some of these groups also serve nonprofits in other parts of the Jackson EMC service area.
