3 children among dead in shooting; Cumming lottery winner; Gville rabid fox

*Gwinnett County Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide involving one adult male and three children found deceased in a vehicle at Lucky Shoals Park in Tucker. The adult and the children, two girls and one boy of elementary and middle school-age, were discovered early Wednesday morning. 

*Someone from Cumming is nearly a million dollars richer thanks to the Georgia Lottery. Lottery officials say the as yet unidentified player won $993,977 in Monday’s Fantasy 5 drawing. That was a 26% increase in the jackpot amount over Sunday’s drawing when there was no winner. The jackpot Sunday was $789,000.

*One person had contact recently with a rabid fox in the 900 block of Jesse Jewell Parkway, according to Hall County Animal Control. The fox was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab – Virology Section in Decatur. County officials say they learned Tuesday that the fox was positive for rabies.
