Led by interventional cardiologist Ronnie Ramadan, MD, the Structural Heart Center team at Georgia Heart Institute recently completed a transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) procedure using the new TriClip device to treat a patient with tricuspid valve regurgitation.
Georgia Heart Institute became the first non-trial site in the U.S. to perform this procedure using the new TriClip device by Abbott.
TriClip offers a minimally invasive option for patients with tricuspid valve regurgitation who can’t undergo open-heart surgery.
