NOAA: Expect another hotter-than-normal summer

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is projecting above average heat in Georgia this summer – again.

New data show Georgia, and most of the country, will be experiencing above average temperatures June through August. That was the case last year, according to data released last September: Stats show just how hot summer was, locally and globally 97.5 Glory FM | North Georgia’s Family Radio Station (wgtjradio.com)

And based on a report released just a few days ago, April’s statistics point to another hotter-than-normal summer, according to the National Weather Service (NWS): Warmest April on record 97.5 Glory FM | North Georgia’s Family Radio Station (wgtjradio.com)

Experts also expect the Peach State to have a wet summer, with above average precipitation.
