HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
“One of three suspects in a robbery in a convenience store parking lot in eastern Hall County last December is now in custody.
Officers with the Gainesville Police Department earlier this month arrested Jesus Bryan Salamanca, 25, of Gainesville, on unrelated traffic charges. Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators were able to tie Mr. Salamanca to the incident on Dec. 20, 2024 at Don Mangum Grocery on Harmony Church Road and file charges over the weekend.
The investigation determined Mr. Salamanca was armed with a shotgun, which he fired toward the roadway during the robbery. Mr. Salamanca has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless conduct, discharging a firearm near a public highway and driving on a suspended license. He remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.
The other two suspects in the case, who have not been identified, remain at large.
