A 22-year-old woman is free on $15,820 bond following her arrest earlier this week on charges growing out of a chase with a state trooper.
GA. STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“(Sunday night about 8:00), troopers observed a black passenger car on (Georgia) 365 at a high rate of speed. Troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop…at White Sulphur Rd.
After turning on White Sulphur Rd, the…car passed a vehicle in a no passing zone, initiating a pursuit.
While traveling west on White Sulphur Rd, the…car failed to maintain their lane, striking an embankment. After doing so, (it) overturned.
Troopers placed the driver under arrest without further incident.”
Brianna Julia Newman was released from the Hall County Jail Monday. She’s charged with:

* FAIL TO MAINTAIN LANE
* DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
