We don’t know who bought it or what store sold it, but a Powerball ticket sold in Buford for Wednesday night’s drawing hit the jackpot – $478 million.
It was the only ticket sold in the country to match all six numbers in the drawing. If the ticket holder chose the cash option, the ticket is worth $230.6 million.
The winning Powerball numbers are 2,15, 27, 29, and 39. The red Powerball is 20, and the Power Play is 2X.
