*A case of bank fraud was reported Friday in the 6400 block of Cleveland Highway in Clermont involving bad checks totaling more than $500. However, no exact amount was included in the report made public by the Hall Couty Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Saturday.
*The sheriff’s office investigated three cases involving the alleged distribution of illegal drugs. One was on Lenox Park Place, another on Athens Street and the third on Wade Drive.
*A 22-year-old man was arrested Friday on Browns Bridge Road on charges of distributing obscene material and bestiality.
*A man and woman have been banned from Ft. Yargo State Park after they were arrested at the park Friday on public indecency charges. Winder Police say the couple had been having sex in a wooded area. The man, Franklin Libbey, 37, is also charged with instigating a fight with Julia Krieger, 30, after she reportedly said her husband’s name while they were being intimate.
Additional information on the HCSO cases is not likely to be available until Monday when the department’s administrative offices reopen following the weekend.
