HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Tabatha Maddox Kinsey, 40, of Lula faces a long list of traffic charges after she fled from Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Warrant Service Unit deputies on Thursday…
Deputies had traveled to a residence on Horseshoe Bend to take Ms. Kinsey into custody on outstanding arrest warrants from Hall County Courts and the Oakwood Police Department. On their approach to the residence, deputies observed Ms. Kinsey driving a Honda Accord. When she saw law enforcement, she sped away, striking one of the HCSO patrol vehicles in the process. The deputy who was driving the patrol vehicle was not injured.
Another deputy followed Ms. Kinsey onto Gillsville Highway, pursuing her vehicle before suspending the pursuit in the area of Cobb Griffin Road. A short time later, additional deputies and investigators from the Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) were able to locate Ms. Kinsey and her vehicle in the area. She fled on foot and hid, but was located by a K9 team and detained.
Ms. Kinsey was transported first to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for observation and then to the Hall County Jail where she was booked on the following charges:
· Fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer
· Reckless driving
· Reckless conduct
· Obstruction of an officer
· Speeding (90 mph in a 55 mph zone)
· Failure to maintain lane
· Passing on a hill or curve
· Failure to stop at a stop sign
· Driving on a suspended license
· Duty to stop at accident
· Duty to make immediate report of an accident
· Failure to allow emergency vehicle to pass
· DUI-multiple substances
Ms. Kinsey remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond.”

“Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗼𝘅 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘆, 𝟰𝟬, 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝘂𝗹𝗮, early this morning.
In addition to her outstanding warrants, deputies charged Kinsey with eight traffic-related offenses for fleeing in her car while they were attempting to serve the warrants in the 2000 block of Horseshoe Bend.
