The national nonprofit organization Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is looking for volunteers to help landscape Army Staff Sgt. Daniel Lister’s future specially adapted custom home in Winder.
The new home for SSG Lister, who was severely wounded in Afghanistan, has more than 40 adaptations including lower countertops and roll under sinks.
Volunteers will help in laying sod and planting trees and flowers.
The house is at 1557 Doster Road. Check-in time if you wish to participate is 9:30.
