A spokesman for the Hall County School District (HCSD) says there were no students on a bus that was involved in a traffic accident in South Hall Friday morning.
GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On May 17, at 8:14 AM, troopers responded to Falcon Parkway and Hog Mountain Road in reference to a two-vehicle crash.
The investigation revealed that vehicle 1 (2015 Toyota Sienna) was in the left turn lane, facing south on Falcon Parkway. Vehicle 2 (School bus) was traveling north on Falcon Parkway. Driver 1 (Russell Williams, 68 YO male of Gainesville) failed to yield while turning left onto Hog Mountain road. Vehicle 2 struck vehicle 1 in the right rear. Driver 2 is Ian Cundiff (27 YO male of Gainesville).
No injuries.
Driver 1 charged with failure to yield.”
