UPDATE 2: GBI says deputy’s car was struck several times

The White County man who was arrested early Sunday following an exchange of gunfire with a Hall County sheriff’s deputy is facing 19 charges in connection with the case, including four counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, according to Hall County Jail records. The GBI report on the incident says bullets struck the deputy’s car “multiple times.”
