UPDATE: NWS revises Freeze Watch, Warning

The Freeze Watch and Freeze Warning areas in Georgia have been expanded as of Sunday morning, according to the latest information from the National Weather Service (NWS).

It now includes Tuesday morning and areas as far south as Americus, Abbeville and Dublin where lows of up to 25 can be expected Tuesday morning. The same is forecast for Gainesville and vicinity with teens expected in the mountains of northeast Georgia.

Strong winds through Wednesday will make it feel even colder.

Mostly clear, with a low around 32. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 40. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Monday Night

Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Veterans Day

Sunny, with a high near 46. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Tuesday Night

Clear, with a low around 34.

Wednesday

Sunny, with a high near 60.

Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
