Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on I-985 Friday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
GSP NARRATIVE:
“On June 28, 2024, at approximately 4:50pm, a Trooper from the Gainesville Post of the Georgia State Patrol responded to I-985 SB to investigation a traffic crash.
Upon arrival, the trooper determined a Saturn Vue and a Tesla Model Y was traveling south on I-985.
The driver of the Saturn was following too closely and struck the rear of the Tesla. After impact, both vehicles came to final rest on the shoulder of the roadway.
The driver and passenger of the Tesla had minor complaints of injuries sustained from the crash. Nobody was transported.”
