New information became available Wednesday on the hit-and-run two weeks ago on Skelton Road that resulted in the death two days later of a Gainesville woman. The state patrol confirming that it is investigating along with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“Our agency can confirm that on 4/18/24, Teresa Bruce was struck by a vehicle on Skelton Rd which left the scene and she was transported from the scene to a medical facility with serious injuries.
There was a male walking with her, and Hall County SO has located him and interviewed him.
The investigating Trooper was notified of Ms. Bruce’s death on 4/26. At this time, the investigation is open and ongoing. GSP-Gainesville and SCRT-B are working with Hall County CID on this investigation.”
