The man who was struck and killed by a train early Saturday in Gainesville has been identified as Keith Lamont Bryant, 39.
Bryant was part of the homeless community in Gainesville and had been living here for the past several years. He also is believed to have had ties to the Warner Robins area in central Georgia.
His identity was made public even though investigators had been unable to locate his next-of-kin to inform them of his death. But shortly after his name was released the Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced that a next-of-kin had been found.
