A Lula man was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident on Georgia 365 early Friday evening.
GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On June 28, at 7:25 PM, troopers responded to Georgia 365 and White Sulphur Road in reference to a multi-vehicle crash.
The investigation revealed that vehicle 1 was traveling south on Georgia 365 in the left lane approaching White Sulphur Road. Vehicle 2 was traveling east on White Sulphur Road in the left turn lane. Vehicle 3 was traveling east on White Sulphur Road in the right lane.
Vehicle 1 ran the red light and struck vehicle 2 as it entered the intersection. The impact caused vehicle 1 to rotate and strike vehicle 3. Vehicle 1 continued to rotate and ejected driver 1. All vehicles came to a final rest on Georgia 365.
Driver 1, Joshua Roland (31 YO of Lula), was seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The other drivers only had minor or no injuries.”
