UPDATE: FCSO: Arrests made in fatal hit-and-run, road rage incident

*The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) has made an arrest in connection with a hit-and-run Tuesday night that left an Alpharetta man dead. Agapito Romo Vazquez is charged with Homicide by
Vehicle in 1st Degree, Felony Hit and Run and Driving Without a License. And additional charges are
pending. In addition to a new windshield, there was clear evidence the driver’s side of the suspect vehicle had been cleaned, FCSO spokeswoman Stacie Miller said, adding that a broken, bloody windshield was also recovered by investigators.

*34-year-old Tyler Leikam of Cumming has been arrested in connection with a Tuesday road rage incident in which he allegedly punched a fellow motorist through an open window on the victim’s car, pulled a knife from his pocket, stabbed a tire on the victim’s car, and turned toward the victim while holding the knife. At that point, Miller said, the victim pulled a gun and shot Leikam in one of his hands. Leikam, who was arrested Wednesday night, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property and Battery. Miller says the incident began when Leikam “brake-checked” the victim who was behind Leikam on a Forsyth County road.
