SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:’

“On January 22, 2025, at 10am, uniform patrol was dispatched to 625 Jefferson Place for a deceased
person.

The ex-wife of 46-year-old Anthony Gennaro Persichetti stopped by the house because Anthony
did not show up to work. When she walked into the home, she found him deceased. The ex-wife told
detectives that Anthony shared the home with their 24-year-old son, Anthony David Persichetti, and she
was afraid the son may have been involved.

While attempting to locate Anthony David, dispatch received a call from Dekalb Medical Examiner’s
Office requesting deputies to make a death notification. Anthony David had been found along a wooded
area of North Druid Hills Road with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The initial investigation indicates that sometime between 7pm and 9:30pm on January 21, 2025,
Anthony David and his father got into an altercation and Anthony David shot his father multiple times.
Following the assault of his father, Anthony David left the home and committed suicide in Dekalb County.
