Two burglaries result in losses totaling $7,000

Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators are investigating two recent residential burglaries that happened in the 6600 block of Crestwood Peninsula off Lights Ferry Road.

Deputies responded to the initial call on Wednesday evening, when the complainant, who owns both houses, discovered them. Deputies conducted searches of the homes and found at least one of them had signs of forced entry. According to the initial investigation, items worth an estimated total of $7,000 were stolen. The owner later found several of the items in the area.

Deputies patrolled the area for suspicious activity throughout the night and contacted investigators, who continue to work the case. Currently, no arrests have been made.
