EARLIER STORY. POSTED 11:00 MONDAY NIGHT:
The White County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) recently formed a special investigative unit which has arrested 12 county residents on various charges, most of them drug-related. The sheriff’s office reports that “large quantities” of “controlled substances” were seized as were several guns.
Those arrested were from Cleveland and Sautee, men and women, ages 28-60.
Charges include possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
