Traffic stop leads to drug possession, trafficking charges

A 40-year-old woman ended up in jail recently on a number of drug charges after she was pulled over by Gainesville Police.

Erike Laura Nava-Caballero is facing a dozen charges in all:

*Possession of a Schedule 1 or 2 Substance with Intent to Distribute

*Trafficking in Cocaine/Illegal Drugs/Marijuana/Meth (3 counts)

*Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute

*Possession of Firearm/Knife In the Commission of a Crime

*DUI

*Open Container Violation While Operating Motor Vehicle

*Driving While Unlicensed/Expired

*Failure to Maintain Lane

*Improper Left or Right Turn

*Immigration

Hall County Jail records show she was booked on Friday – and late Sunday she was still in jail without bond. There was no information on where the traffic stop took place or the quantity of drugs that officers reported uncovering.
