*Flowery Branch may be getting a venue for one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. A hearing is planned by the city council in January for a Conditional Use Permit and the annexation and rezoning of property at 4272 Thurman Tanner Parkway. The applicant is for a Pickleball Recreational Facility, according to city documents. The hearing is scheduled for January 16.
