Three sent to hospital following Sunday night wreck

A Sunday night crash on Tumbling Creek Road at West Park Drive sent three people to the hospital, according to the state patrol.

The investigation found that a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound on West Park, attempting to make a left turn onto Tumbling Creek. A Dodge Journey was traveling westbound on Tumbling Creek Road.

The driver of the Jeep failed to yield to oncoming traffic after stopping at the stop sign. The Dodge struck the left side of the Jeep. After the crash, the Jeep overturned onto its right side. Both drivers and a passenger in the Dodge were transported to a hospital after complaining of injuries.
