(FROM GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – A new environmental study by the Georgia Department of Transportation has found several pros and cons to adding toll lanes along I-285 and portions of GA 400. The toll lanes would displace around 21 residences and 44 businesses. However, the study finds that traffic would improve by reducing travel times by 39% for toll users and 8% for “free” lane drivers.
