Just weeks after wrapping up several days of shooting in downtown Gainesville, “Tulsa King” is back in our area.
This time the Emmy-nominated TV series starring Sylvester Stallone has set up shop in Winder – and Barrow County officials took to Facebook to let folks know what was about to take place.
“Later this week, you may notice the Oklahoma state flag flying at the Barrow County Historic Courthouse,” the posting begins. “Don’t worry – we didn’t lose a bet (Y’all remember the Rose Bowl, right?) or get pranked. There is a film crew in town for the TV show “Tulsa King,” who will be filming scenes in and around Downtown Winder, including the outside of the historic courthouse. We ask that everyone be kind and courteous to the film crew and allow them to do their jobs without interruption.”
The organized crime comedy/drama was in Gainesville on two occasions in April and May shooting scenes for the program’s second season. More Gville Tulsa King filming this week (wgtjradio.com)
