Things were tense for a while at one Banks County school Wednesday morning after two people were seen walking across the campus.
Banks County Sheriff Carlton Speed says as part of the school’s safety protocol an alert was sounded but that it was quickly canceled after investigators determined there was no threat to students, teachers, or anyone associated with the school.
Speed said the pair had been to the Banks County Library and was using the school’s campus as a short cut upon leaving the library..
