The weather service’s latest forecast for the timing of a strong storm system headed our way has the worst of it hitting Sunday night into Monday.
“Confidence is increasing that a line of strong to severe storms will impact north and central Georgia Sunday overnight through Monday evening,” the latest advisory says. “Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard, but hail and brief tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings.
