HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies charged South Hall…convenience store clerk over the weekend after he sold alcohol to a minor.
Deputies arrested William Blake Gabbard, 33, of Braselton, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 20. Gabbard is charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor (misdemeanor).
The investigation began Saturday morning, Sept. 20, when deputies responded to (the Winder Highway store). Family members of a male teenager, 17, requested deputies meet with them at the store after they discovered that that teen had purchased alcohol there.
According to deputies’ initial investigation, Gabbard, who was working as a clerk at the store, sold a single-serving alcoholic beverage and a case of hard iced tea to the 17-year-old on Friday afternoon… Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Gabbard and arrested him Saturday afternoon at his residence on Long Drive.
Gabbard was booked into the Hall County. He posted $1,300 bond and was released early Sunday morning…”
