CLARKESVILLE POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“Three women dressed in medical scrubs and masks allegedly tried to steal multiple bottles of alcohol from Clarkesville Package Store.
When confronted, one reportedly assaulted a store clerk by kicking him and striking him in the head with a bag containing a stolen bottle.
Deputies arrested the trio about 5 miles from the scene. Investigators believe they may be tied to other recent crimes in Toccoa and Baldwin.”
